Heat where the cold gets in first.
The Essential is a close-fitting, plush-lined heated base layer that goes on first and disappears under whatever you wear over it: a top with three heated zones down your back, pants with three more at the waist and knees, or the full set with all six. In black or gray, it's the easiest way into heated layering for the commute, the sideline, the early shift or the trail.
- Top: 3 heated zones. All down the back: one across the upper back, one mid-back and one across the lower back.
- Pants: 3 heated zones. One across the waist and one at each knee.
- Set: all 6 zones. Top and pants together, for the coldest days and the longest hours outside.
- Three heat levels on each piece. Hold the button on the USB lead for 3 seconds to switch on, then press to choose: about 122, 104 or 86°F (50, 40 or 30°C). The lead tucks into a zipped pocket that takes a power bank up to about 5.4 x 2.6 x 1.1 in.
- Runs on a standard 5V USB power bank, sold separately. The top and pants each have their own USB lead, so to heat both at once, use two banks. No bank yet? Add our Cell 10K.
- Soft, plush-lined polyester knit. Round crew neck and long sleeves on the top; a soft elastic waist, button fly and full-length legs on the pants.
- Black or gray, US men's sizes S to XL. It's meant to fit close. Between sizes? Take the bigger one. Wrong size sent? We send the right size free.

14-day limited warranty. Damaged, faulty, not what you ordered or the wrong size sent? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and we replace it or refund you, at no cost to you.
Care
Worn against the skin, so start on the lowest setting and stop if it feels too hot. Pack your power bank in your carry-on when you fly, never in a checked bag. Unplug and take the power bank out before washing, then follow the care label. Don't tumble-dry it or iron over the heated panels. Not for young children, or for anyone who can't feel heat well or can't take the garment off on their own. Don't sleep in it.

Questions
Does it come with a power bank?
No. It runs on a USB power bank, sold separately. Use one you have, or add one of our Cell power banks.
Is shipping free?
Yes, on US orders of $70 or more. Under $70, standard tracked shipping is $8, shown at checkout before you pay.
Where do orders ship from?
Some items ship from our US warehouse, others from our international warehouse, so a mixed order can arrive in more than one parcel, each with its own tracking. The shipping page lists each product.
What's your return policy?
Start a return within 7 days of delivery. It needs to be unworn and unwashed, with everything it came with; return postage is yours, and we refund the item price once it arrives. Damaged, faulty or not what you ordered? Tell us within 14 days and we put it right at no cost to you. On sized items, if we sent the wrong size, we send the right size free. Power banks, pocket warmers and the rechargeable insoles come back only unused: contact us first and we'll send the packing steps.
What does the warranty cover?
Every heated product and power bank we sell has a 14-day limited warranty against defects, counted from delivery. If it's faulty, we replace it or refund you, at no cost to you.
Can I fly with it?
Yes. Heated clothing and accessories that run from a separate power bank can go in a carry-on or a checked bag (TSA); take the power bank out first and keep it in your carry-on. Power banks, and anything with a built-in battery (pocket warmers, the Remote Control and App Control insoles), go in your carry-on only.
Who shouldn't use heated clothing?
Young children, and anyone who can't feel heat well or can't take the garment off on their own. Don't sleep in heated clothing. Stop if anything feels too hot.
Can I wear it against my skin?
Yes. It's a base layer, made to be worn next to your skin under your clothes. Start on low and check how your skin feels until you know it, and stop if anything feels too hot. Don't sleep in it.
